       It was with great regret that we announced the untimely death of the Polish Visionary artist Zdzislaw Beksinski, who was murdered in his home.

NICKOLAI KALMAKOFF

       In June 2005, the Kalmakoff painting Mythic Scene (at right) was auctioned at the Drouot's Auction house in Paris for 20,000 euros.

       One week later at Drouot's, another Kalmakoff (at right) was auctioned for 14,500 euros, soaring well above its estimated price of 800 euros.
